Vidal brings the fight to the team that we have missed since Puyol. His midfield profile is also something that is useful to have in the squad. Moreso than Paulinho although the latter would bring more goals in 2nd and 3rd tier matches.

Glad that he is able to show his worth now. I just wish that Valverde would let Rakitic recharge his batteries when Arthur is back.

Just imagine if we had a proper manager who rotated the squad efficiently. We would have a rested Rakitic and a capable non rusty deputy like Vidal firing on all cylinders.

Gave 110% yesterday! Almost scored 2 goals.. still baffled at Valverdes obsession with Paulinho when we have a better more experienced version of him in Vidal.

yeah, in this team of pussies and walking dead especially in away matches we desperately need a player like him, a true fighter.

We've always needed a player like him. Decent skill and fairly technical but willing to run himself into the ground. Physically strong and good in the air and a leader mentality wise.

We've missed this ever since Puyol left.
