Predictions that you have made or opinions that you held which were proven totally wrong....

Saying that Le Tallec and Pongolle will prove to be better signings for us than Cronaldo for the Mancs (summer 2003)

Told people that we will never win anything with Didi Hamann in midfield (2004)

Telling my then girlfriend that Ronaldinho is overrated (2003)

Saying El Hadji Diouf will help us win the league (2002)

Telling my then girlfriend that Xavi won't amount to anything (2001)

Thinking Leeds will win the league within 3 years (1999)

Telling my then girlfriend that the signing of Saviola will help you win the CL within 2 years and that Saviola will be the best player of the decade. (2001).


So what predictions have you made in the past which couldn't have been more wrong?! :D

Predicted Barca losing Yaya would be like Madrid losing Makelele, Busquets will suck balls and we will be doomed ... wrong :lol:

Predicted Balotelli will become a great footballer and is better than Pato ( early days when both just came into the scene ) ... wrong :lol:

Predicted Messi will only score 39 goals this season ... Wrong :lol:

Predicted Jose will play attacking football in the Santiago vs Barca ... Por Que?

I think I can be forgiven though because he was shit for PSG :p So there were questions about his temperament in europe at that time.

I thought Matias De Frederico would be a star in Europe by now....

also Maxi Moralez another one I thought was bound for greatness.. I guess he is just to short but doing very well at Velez

Gai Assulin really let me down I was wanking (no homo) over him

O and I thought Andres D'alessandro would lead Argentina for many years.... shame always been my fav player and a nice person once you get to know him

Mourinho might be an annoying coach but tolerable. (so, so, wrong)
Spain will flop in the WC final vs Netherlands.
Osama Bin Laden committed suicide because of Arsenal being bigger floppers than they were previously.
Ronny will get back in form after moving to AC Milan
Ibra will provide different routes for us and fully integrate with the team

Maxi Lopez is the perfect partner for Eto'o (after his goal vs chelsea)
Italy would flop in 2006 world cup
Thinking that we would be crushed by United in 2009 final (10 minutes into the game)
Liverpool winning the league last year
Torres helping Chelsea win the CL

These are just recent ones...

Ibrahimovic would be a top Barca player for years to come
Bojan would have a breakthrough season this year
Mourinho/Madrid would be more of a threat to us this year than they have been
Xavi would finally get the Ballon d'Or

Torres would not leave Liverpool for Chelsea
Liverpool would finish bottom half of the table this season
