    Default Adem Ljajic

Adem Ljajic is one of the players who have generated more excitement this year in the Italian League. His youth-and progression -19 years have put him in the orbit of several European clubs ...

Manchester United, Everton and Seville are among the teams that have called at their doors. And although the midfielder now prefers to stay in the club 'viola', his agent, Giorgio Parretti haven`t ruled out anything. Moreover, he even launched a nod to the club.

"There are many rumors and I hope that in future bids will reach Madrid and Barca," said Radio Parretti in Tuscany. And pointed: "At the moment, our goal is to stay in Florence."

    Top class playmaker prospect.

What were Manchester United thinking when they rejected him...?!

Very talent, but he has work ethic issues.

Supposedly only would move to Barcelona or Madrid.

The reason Ferguson gave for not signing Ljajic was "Not value for money" ie he didn't think it was worth 8 million to sign an unproven 17 year old Serbian playmaker.
Nope. Only a year later he goes and signs a bulky random homeless tramp for the exact same price.
Oh do I laugh in the face of irony sometimes.

Not just that, Fergie has played some absolute steals, 12 Mill for Ronaldo, 5 Mill for Vidic, 5 Mill for Evra, 2 Mill for VDS, 500k for Schmeicel, 2 Mill for Keane, 6M for Hernandez.

But then you look at his major fuck ups: and you just think...WHAT THE HECK?!

30 Mill for Veron. Hmm. David Bellion. Liam Miller. Djemba Djemba. Kleberson. Diego Forlan (world beater outside of Utd, couldnt hit a barn door here). Massimo Taibi, Zoran Tosic.
It's like the guys got Schezophrenia, genius one minute, absolute retard the next

Totally agree, I remember a few years ago Fergie's signings were so bad that United had to make do with a central midfield partnership of Smith and Oshea, people who moan about Carrick soon forget how bad United's midfield was back then, it was lower league standard.

Yep. That season was when Kleberson and Djemba Djemba both turned out utterly crap. Keane had broken Knee ligaments and Scholes was out for 5 months due to some stupid eye infection :/.

Yeah it just shows how bad Kleberson and Djemba must of looked in training that Fergie preferred Oshea and Smith in there, man that midfield was just embarrasing. Van Nistelrooy's goals saved United from totally collapsing during that period, probably would of been mid-table otherwise lol.
