Either retirement or moving on to another club as has been speculated before...He's a warrior & a leader but his body can't cope with this Barcelona level any longer...He's earned it to do as he pleases, I could see him going to AC Milan as they do love their aged defenders...But two captains leaving the club this season?...Xavi will have the spotlight on him even more now

Hope that he won't leave for another club… He should stay as player-coach or work for the staff. The truth is that he's not anymore the fourth centre back we need.

Hopefully we can integrate him into our staff, even if in the formative level... In 5 years Puyol + Xavi + Abidal coaching staff! Be prepared!
