Meanwhile
1. Phil is staying in LA for one last season, trying to complete a final treepeat.
2. Lakers have offered Mike Miller the full MLE of 5 years, 30 millions. That would be a fantastic signing.

YEAH PHIL!!
I hope Byron Scott has an out clause in his contract for next season.
if that's true about Mike Miller that's the potential for a great addition.
You don't want Byron Scott in LA... wouldn't you prefer to keep Brian Shaw?
lol bulls fans on the NBA forum have been looking at the Lebron website looking at the dots, they are trippin haha, how desperate can you get
it would be hilarious if NY ended up with nothing, which could easily happen
I think the Bucks have done the most so far with the acquisition of Corey Maggette, CDouglas-Roberts, Drew Gooden and resignment of John Salmons.
Meanwhile Lakers have signed Steve Blake on a 4 year, 16M deal. Good move. Mike Miller would have been good but he can get more than the MLE elsewhere and probably wanted to delay his decision. Blake is a great shooter and decent defender.

would have prefered Miller, but Blake can light it up when necessary. I guess this means goodbye to Shannon Brown.
meanwhile, back in TO the Raps are apparently unwilling to do a sign-and-trade for CB4
and one of the underrated guys on ESPN, Scoop Jackson, wrote a really good article today. check it out. don't be stupid.
Spot on by Scoop, about the same thing I said last page concerning the Chicago situation with Rose & Lebron.
Espn.com is vomit-inducing right now. Lebron everywhere. Disgusting.

having watched some rose on the 'toob, I can indeed say that scoop jackson (always gonna end up in journalism, that guy) is right.
HEY ORLANDO! SIGN LEBRON!
(or more likely sign boozer in some sorta epic trade involving gortat, carter and bass... at least that's what I heard... whatcha make o' that fellas?)

you're a fan of Boozer, Meta? Don't rate him all that highly, he always seems to disappear when the going gets tough.

from what I've seen he's a force offensively and on the glass.
I've read he's not much cop defensively, but howard is a MONSTAH there so that doesn't bug me.
if he's a choker though, eeeh, not likin' that. the team needs to take that final step towards winning, and chokers usually don't help with that.
somewhere in the east (chicago or NJ probably) there's going to be at least two big hitters on one team. so orlando would do well to focus on the team and system and finding players that, as scoop says, compliment each other. right now a shooter (carter is oooold) and a power forward are what's needed. GET THEM GOD DAMMIT!
although if lebron does go to chi-town, it would be remiss of the magic not to dangle role-players in front of the bulls to try and get derrick rose, IMO.
