I watched the first half.. This guy is a real deal. For real. No matter it was a monstrously shit defence of Fisher's he had to deal with at that time (later on Kobe guarded him).
Steve Nash second coming. That makes me shit my pants when I think of the pick and roll partners he will have. Seriously high IQ. Passes when he should pass and drives when he should drive.
The only real problem right now is that he doesn't put much effort on D yet, but with the right coaching (Mike? *cough*) he will learn.
Yes. Lin is a real prospect. Another great game. What a week he has had.
BUT Lakers are really horrible in virtually every aspect of the game. A former shadow of themselves. Changes are badly needed.

Lakers looked absolutely horrendous out there. That offense is nauseating to watch and Fisher simply does not play defense AT ALL.
Lin bandwagon > Tebow bandwagon

Alfredo Di Stéfano, Real Madrid's greatest ever player and the honorary president, spoke out. "Barcelona's football was simply brilliant," he said in his weekly column. "Their superiority was there for the whole planet to see: the whites were cornered all game. Barcelona play football and dance. They treat the ball with adoration and respect, almost nurturing it. To see this team in action is a delight."
Also Meta where are you brah?
Good game though, Zaza did a great job on D12, and gotta love a pissed off J-Smoove, beast-like stuff out there despite still taking far too many long 2s...

as for the Lakers, Mike Brown's offense requires a PG to run/direct and Steve Blake is getting his chance to run it. whether he'll still be around post all-star break is another story. but the Lakers are going to try and figure out if he can run his offense. the problem for LA is that they still slip in to the triple-post offense. they do it naturally and it completely screws up their offense. also, LA's lack of offensive choherence really shows how much we miss Lamar. He was, among many things, a great playmaker and a headache for defenses. this year is going to be a write off for LA, unless, Pau keeps playing the way he has been. amazing stuff from him. if Kobe can just hit 50% and the rest of the team can contribute by hitting even 40% of their shots, the Lakers could do some damage. but right now Blake and Fish are shooting terribly, and Metta World Peace is just offensively useless (did one hell of a job on Paul Pierce though).
deron williams, raja bell, john wall, derek fisher, kobe....
indeedNot quite as impressive.

Fisher is a whole new chapter this season. He really should quit before it gets too embarrassing for him. Before doing so he can try to wake Ron Artest from his coma.
And Blake is not good enough for Lakers. Truly frustrating to see him in action.
