really wont be able to say where Dwight will go until the labour issue is resolved in the NBA. If the NBA does decide to adopt an NFL-style Franchise Tag, then Dwight would be in Orlando for a little while longer as I'm sure Orlando will franchise tag him. How long of a commitment that would require from Dwight is unknown at this point. although, even with a franchise tag, if a team had assets to trade for Dwight ... like a talented big man (Bynum) and expiring contracts (Ron Artest & Steve Blake) to take He-don't off of their hands ... well ... then ... Dwight would continue the legacy of big men who left other franchises to win titles in LA.
just hypothesizing.
Nice stuff from the Mavs. Big game on the glass for Chandler and for the Mavs in the second half.
Mavs really are a better team in this series despite that embarrassment in Game 4. They do better job at playing their game away from home and should get through the series with what they're doing, even without away shooting effort.
I still hate Terry though, so bloody overhyped.
BTW
What a nice stat I found.
Carmelo Anthony - 730 ISOs with Knicks + Nuggets, 36.9% of the time on the floor, 0.85 point per possession
Amare Stoudemire - 626 ISOs with Knicks, 31.5%, 0.85 point per possession
compared with
Kobe Bryant - 642 ISOs, 30.3% of the time, 1.03 point per possession
Knicks for the F-ing win dude![]()

And so it is Heat v Boston. Only a matter of time when Atlanta fills up for series with Bulls. Will be interesting to watch LeBrick go up in 5-6 game series versus ageing Celtics.
Now then, I still think Paul has got it and Gasol doesn't so I wouldn't close the door on this series. Denver are done and so is San Antonio I would say. I'm really surprised that they are playing so badly without Manu. I mean they were always better than this even without regular perimeter shooting.
Bring it on Dallas, have to show up in Rose Garden.
It comes down to this, hang on Atlanta !
Alfredo Di Stéfano, Real Madrid's greatest ever player and the honorary president, spoke out. "Barcelona's football was simply brilliant," he said in his weekly column. "Their superiority was there for the whole planet to see: the whites were cornered all game. Barcelona play football and dance. They treat the ball with adoration and respect, almost nurturing it. To see this team in action is a delight."
Bye Bye New Orleans![]()
