i know he doesnt need to be rushed in to games, however, i honestly think he should be playing for the b team. having been to the game against cornella at the weekend, camara scored a lucky goal but he did nothing all game. is was very poor quality overall, minus samper, gumbau and alena. if lee cant play at this level (barca b) just now, then i think that is a problem.

So did Xavi really predict Lee being on the first team in one or two years or is barcabstuff just parroting unreliable sources?

Sport wrote about it here.

Former Barcelona captain Xavi Hernandez has been speaking about Seung-Woo Lee, the young South Korean star currently playing for the Juvenil A side.

Xavi, who is now playing in Qatar, was giving an interview to Navar Sports about a range of things, but it was his comments about Lee which stood at.

“In one or two years he will be in the first team,” Xavi said, even comparing him to Lionel Messi.

Lee, who has only just began playing for the club again after turning 18 following FIFA’s sanctions, has spent a lot time over the past few months playing for his country, where he is one of the leaders of his team.

Now back with Barça, his main objective is to recover physically and to gain the necessary rhythm to prove that all they hype about his potential is justified.

He's surely ready for B team?

Doubt it ,not playing for too long and the B team is getting more experienced players to save the team which for now is working well
May be next season or the season after at most .kid need to take slow steps after the ban tbh

Definitely not yet. He already improved a lot between the game vs Cornella and the one vs Manacor, but he's the last one that should be rushed. Besides, Barça B don't need any attackers right now after 3 new signings and a very well-playing Juan Camara. Lee will most likely be promoted next season, though. This is Jang's last Juvenil A season, so he'll definitely be promoted.

Jang ir even younger than Lee. You definitely wanted to say "Paik"...

Watched 2nd half of 3:1 Real Zaragoza. Lee and Alena's combination was a joy to watch. Lee seemed comfortable with the ball and showed some nice passes and link-up plays. Still made some bad decision in tight spaces though.
The funny moment is that I thought he would shoot 1v1 with the gk but he passed to Alena on the other side... Actually it would be better to take the chance himself. Still, he seemed not selfish.
BTW Alena had some insane moments. However sometimes he can be a frustration. Overall inconsistency is the only problem that's limiting his game.
