Keita ain't leaving. Afellay can do what Fabregas does & basing on the flashes he has already showed, there's every chance the club would give him more time before we splash cash on Cesc. Pinto is staying, Zubi confirmed yesterday.

I like the idea of Coentrao though, keeps Abidal only for the CB position which means we don't need to buy another CB & hence be able to give enough time for Fontas to develop. But Coentrao is under Madrid's radar, if Mou stays there's no way Coentrao is coming to us. We will see what happens

You haven't mentioned about Bojan... I'd prefer the option of him leaving on loan and we get a back up CF, which Pato ain't!!

Totally agree to sell the ones you mentioned except Keiteee. And we can't sell Pinto, he either signs a renewal or leaves as a free agent.

Get a bit younger for next year. Along with Thiago, promote Fontas. Sell Milito to make room.

After re-signing Alves, make just one buy, for the future. I vote for Neymar, the type of talent to win the Pichichi in a few years. Play him enough to keep the minutes reasonable for Messi, Pedro and Villa.

Cut bait on Jeffren and Bojan, they are better off elsewhere.

Get some money, and open up some playing time for Afellay and Thiago, by selling Keita. Even though we love him, you can't be sentimental. Or sell Masch.

Also we need to pay atention to our financial status that is not great, no need to go on some Man City/Real Madrid spree and spend like hell. Stick to the budget and we will be more then ok.

i agree with all this...

i would just add Sakho in the summer aswell though...he can provide cover for Puyol/Abidal and create competition for Fontas/Maxwell...

if Alves doesn't sign a new contract (god forbid...) then i would like us to sign either van der Wiel or Isla as his replacement...

Cesc or Pastore would be nice but they are not really needed this summer and would be a luxury signing...

Pato would be awesome for us but we obviously have MVP and Afellay plus i want to see the likes of Deulofeu, Etock and Dongou coming through the ranks, into the first team and getting chances over the next few seasons so signing him is merely a pipe dream...

so yeah in conclusion...

IN - Sakho (maybe van der Wiel or Isla depending on the Alves situation...)

abidal is losing some of his speed and he seems to have made a successful transition to CB and just being awesome playing anywhere...contrao would be a solid signing to play LB but knowing us we will probably push for cesc in the summer unless he comes to us for 35 mill or less i say nooo deal
