Can't believe TV pundit gets Suspended for airing views on Women assistant referee with regards to offside rule. Andy Gray on Sky sports (uk) said "off air" that The assistant referee, who happened to be a female, at the Wolves vs Liverpool game, would not know the offside rule. Let's face it, MOST MALE assistant referees dont know the offside rule. How the hell is he being sexist. He has apologised and offered to pay £45.00 for her to go out for a meal. Absolute class. Take a bow son, take a bow

LOL! could that get any more insulting?

Well now we have got rid of the Scottish bloke we can get an Englishman.

Richardson would be epic.

Keys needs to go, too. He was a willing part of this recurring pattern of unacceptable behavior. Sky needs football commentators who base what they say and think on what happens on the field, not on their prejudices.

Andy Grey going is great. Too biased and very annoying. Plus what he was asking that female presenter to do for him was disgusting..

Who famously believes Serie A to be the best league in the world and supports AS Roma. No chance, English football will want someone who tows the party line.

The way that they were dismissed is a joke. Whilst not acceptable if people were sacked on the basis of a private joke many people in this world would be out of a job.

And what about the soccerettes on Sky's Soccer AM?

No he does not think Serie A is the best in the world. In his podcast Serie A is frequently mocked, sometimes they skip it all together.

Do your homework Ducky, his wife is Italian, his background is journalism in Italia, and its the English league and its over hype he ridicules.

I've listened to Guardian football weekly for years and I have never heard him defend Serie A once. The Irish Barry Glendenning absolutely mocks Serie A pretty much every show and James has never defended it or said it was "the best in the world". Serie A was once, but now it isn't even in the top 3.

Anyway this thread is about sexism in football.
