    Palermo won once again, this time 1-0 against Udinese; 4th place it is.

    Udine were probably still shocked after their home loss vs. Atalanta. Cost me some nice cash as well. Any interesting players in Palermo this season?

    Cavani, Kjaer, Simplicio (should go to a big team)

    Kjaer is a great player... yeah but Simplico has lost his edge a bit, he should have switched to a bigger club some time ago, now I think he's settled well and should stay.

    Well Cavani is a great striker, but too inefficient if you ask me... he has all the qualities to be better than Forlan, but maybe he should sign for some other club; don't you think it would be too great of a risk to sign him taking into account that he hasn't proved himself on a big scene?

    Cavani is very promising, however Barcelona would probably ruin his development. He would probably end up like Forlan did at Manure.

    It took Forlan a while to become efficent (and even still he will have moments of complete ineptitude)..Forlan is very talented in the sense that he can do a bit of everything, but part of his success comes down to his fanatical work ethic and positive attitude, we don't know if Cavani can bounce back from failure like Forlan can.

    Palermo is having a good season though, they are flawed but so is every team in Italy right now. They used their money better than Genoa, Lazio and Roma, that's for sure.

    This is the problem I see, he is a very good prospect, but not being a regular starter would represent a great problem for him.

    How is Pastore doing? I haven't been paying attention, too closely. Last time I saw him play was against Juventus and he basically won them the game.
    May permanent peace be brought to the Arab world. My heart goes out to the families of those who have lost loved one(s). I wish and hope those who are creating religious, racial, regional, and tribal divisions among/within the Arab nations would be defeated in their quest for the destruction of the Middle East.

    Pastore's doing fine, taking in consideration that he has played in only a few matches so far. I expect him to get more and more minutes in the near future.

    Tonight, Inter-Palermo, will be a tricky challenge for Inter and I expect Palermo to get at least a point out from this one. Especially, since Inter hasn't been performing on the highest of levels recently.

    Palermo: 46 Sirigu; 3 Goian, 24 Kjaer, 8 Migliaccio; 21 Melinte, 30 Simplicio, 23 Bresciano, 16 Cassani; 6 Pastore; 7 Cavani, 10 Miccoli;

    A disposizione: 1 Brichetto, 9 Nocerino, 14 Bertolo, 19 Succi, 26 Morganella,88 Blasi, 90 Hernandez;
    Pastore, Cavani and Miccoli this looks very promising.

    1-0 Eto'o; he scored from the penalty. A foul was made on Balotelli after he had successfully dribbled his way into the penalty area.

    Rumour has it that Palermo is about to sign a Slovenian player Josip Iličić, who currently plays for NK Maribor, for 2,3€ mio; his salary should be 300,000€ per year according to Gazzetta.

    These are some highlights of his:

    The first goal at 1:30 is incredible; the Scottish defender will probably suffer from dizzy spells until the end of his career.

    I had the fortune to play with him for 8 years in younger selections (NK Triglav); a great player with prodigious talent, it was patently obvious that he was gonna make it as a football player. He made his debut a week ago for the national side against Australia. His technique is mesmerizing... Proud of you Josip!!!

    Maribor beat Palermo; and guess who scored for Maribor; yep Iličić, probably against his future club.
