Best Player In The World in 4-5 Years time?

Not sure where to post this, but this seems the more appropriate section.

Who do you think will be the best player in the World in 4 to 5 years? Players like Ronaldo and Messi will be in their late 20's then, will they still be dominating like they are now?

Is there a youngester about now who catches your eye and makes you think 'yeah, this guy is going to the top?'

Do you think it may be a player who we haven't even heard about yet or a player playing right now who is no where near the best now, but is going to get better? (Zidane was a late developer).

Then you realize Messi is one of those 'youngsters' and you realize that there is no use of this thread because he will be 27 in 5 years time. Bizarre, yet reality.

Hopefully Messi, Cesc and Thiago will be the new Messi, Xavi and Iniesta.

Probably a little hopeful :lol: Messi for sure though, if he stays healthy.

28 bro, late 20's as i said.

Players playing in Messi's position lose a bit of something (like an extra yard or 2) when they get to their late 20's, he'll have to adapt his game anyway if he still wants to remain the best, same with Ronaldo.

Both are going to be alltime greats that's for sure, but whether they are going to remain THE BEST and above everyone else still at that age remains to be seen.

The good positive for Messi is that he is developed or improved so much in several areas. Messi can play as a playmaker or an attacking mid, just as he did for Argentina in WC. SO even after 5 or 6 years he will be there on top of the form. Where i don't think Ronaldo will be able to switch as a playmaker role. His game will get affected by his physical conditions. As far as he stay good physically he will be good. Cesc, Thiago, Pastore, Nasri, Ozil, all will be playing on top of their form by then.
