Yes, they all look very promising (Capoue as well).

But hopefully they will reach this level soon.

Just saw a brilliant documentary about Zidane. (you have time for that when you have a flu for the 4 day in a row)

My all-time favorite player and how I miss him doing his brlliance for Les Bleus. (and the old guard as a whole)

It was a documentary produced by French Canal +. I will try and find the exact title of the documentary.

But you can probably find it on Youtube or parts of it.

And no it was not the one about his last game for RM.

But well it was a brilliant reminder of his class and the teams class at that point.

You need nostalgia after France's and Italy's display in the recent EURO and World Cup.

Koscielny is brilliant, he should start for France. He does make mistakes but he's superb and improving so much. Him and Sakho would be a fantastic partnership. Ducde, what do you think?

I have not seen enough of Koscielny to say if he would be a improvement or a good pairing with Sakho. From what I recall Koscielny has not even played a single game yet although he has recently been called up to the squad.

Right now none of them are the preferred pairing as Lolo prefers Rami and Kaboul in the middle. (I know....)

But that can obviously change if Koscielny continues to improve and Mexés regains match fitness.

Hard to tell as there generally speaking are a lot of uncertainties for obvious reasons.

Martin Keown loves him and he's a good judge of defenders. I hope he gets a chance for France, he's a really nice guy and he deserves it. He can sometimes struggle against more physical sides (eg Blackburn away this season) but he's getting better and will only improve with Vermaelen as his partner. From what I've seen of Sakho, I think they'd work really well together.

My preferred partnership right now is Rami (although he was pretty bad against Bosnia but overall he has performed really well for Valencia and before that in Lille) and Sakho. I do not trust Kaboul and Mexés usually underperformers for the national team (when he gets the chance which is not often) and Koscielny is an uncertainty for my part.

From what I saw last season of Koscielny was promising but I also recall a handful of mistakes but the majority of them was due to your defense and overall play and him being a debutant in the PL.

But as I said before, I have seen very little of him this season so I am not the one to judge if he should be part of the preferred pairing or not, although he probably deserves a chance.

As long as France doesn't win euro 2012 and the next World Cup I'll be happy :P I hate that team.

You seem to have forgotten about !

I haven't seen Koscielny play this season, but the league cup final vs Birminham ruined my belief in the boy

Wish I could say the same about Morocco but I not even aware if they have a football team.

Nah, why all the hate? From what I recall half of your squad are born in France.

    Deco 20:

Include Abi in that list as well, je regrette.

Ligue 1 has been pretty disappointing, particularly in comparison to the big leagues in Europe...Cynical & incessant fouling as well as spineless officiating...Exhausting to even get through 90 minutes watching
Paolo Maldini - "In my opinion, Messi should win the Golden Ball each year. He's an unbelievable player."

"Who's going to answer the questions, Sir Robin Brave Sir Robin you go"
"uhhh i've got a great idea why doesn't Lancelot go."
