the surprising matter is that the manager is not selected by one person but a committee of ex prominent /famous managers like Jacquet(before he retired 3 years ago)
The AEF are the ones who give their blessing to X or Y ..

I tip them to win the next euros and the 2014 world cup. I even expect them to do well in 2010 (they will qualify) because of their african roots. They are used to that timezone and climate and I expect them to do well.
