I know it's difficult to initially find the right person, but if you are lucky enough to find someone you regard as your best-friend and your lover, then there's nothing in the world that beats it. It's natural afterall, only now it's a more complicated process. So anyone who genuinely has no desire to have a serious relationship, whether or not they are sucessful, I will always feel sorry for.

I wasn't being serious about it anyway but the truth is I don't want a serious relationship at the moment in fact don't want a relationship whatsoever at the moment which is why I'm still single.

In an ideal world though, would you be happy in a serious relationship at some point in the future?

I think it's silly because a person should have more faith in themselves to get over somebody rather than relying on finding somebody special, which is something that often(but not always, of course) happens by chance. From what I've seen and heard of in my life, a lot of the people who go around continually looking for somebody usually end up being the type of people who have dozens of failed 'relationships' cause they get into something with a person after a few days(which sometimes turns out perfect, if you're lucky), and then when they truly get to know the person they realise they've made a mistake. Then they seem to continually rinse and repeat without ever learning.

But hey, whatever helps I guess.

Yeah, I was too lazy to go into a proper explanation at the time. Not trying to be an ass, but placing your hopes of getting over somebody, or something in general, on chance isn't the best way to do it. But of course for each person it's different, some people just can't get over things easily.

I dont know, I'm the sort of person who gets over a break-up very quickly, I don't want to seem as if I have no emotions because that would be a lie, but I just tend to shrug it off and get on with my life, I just don't let it get to me and convince myself that there's other girls in the world. That's probably just me though.

Yeah of course there are other girls in the world, but depending on how good your connection was with that person, you may not believe it'd be that easy to find somebody as good for you. That is the trap of it all, if your last relationship was awesome, you'll usually(whether you do it intentionally or not) compare your connection with the new person with how it was with the last. That's what makes things tough for a lot of people, sometimes you just can't look for the same thing again, sometimes you have to settle for less to ultimately be happy in the long run.

Yeah your right, If I break up with my current girlfriend I highly be able to find someone as good as perfect as her, I would have to settle fo less.
