yeah his back tracking and work rate is nearly second to none, but still think his overall decision making and end product needs to improve a bit, quite sure he will be the best signing the club made lately though

his runs are awesome.... needs a bit of work (was a bit slow today for some reason) but he'll come through i'm expecting him to peak near the end of the season
his runs are awesome but his positioning can be a bit better, that's why his probing runs go unnoticed by messi and xavi because sometimes he's in no mans land but that shoudl improve naturally. but yea what a hero![]()
You can tell he is nowhere near 100% yet but he is improving and I never expected him to settle so well so quickly (with the team changing so often this has been especially difficult) but I really think as he becomes more confident and gets to grip with Barca's playing style that he's gonna become unplayable.
He's still terrific at the moment, but I feel like there is a lot more to come from him.
I liked how the fans chanted his name when he was subbed off .. if he starts to take on his man .. he would be sexier ..
Sanchez is so sexy, he has his own cumbia named after him in Chile.
quick and bad translation of chorus: "El Niño Maravilla, let him shine, let him shine, he comes from Tocopilla, dominating the ball because of his firmness and vigor in his heart". Anyone can translate it better go for it.![]()
anyone thinks like me? he is so much better when playing on the right or center....
IMHO he should not play on the left cause he struggles there he cannot use his left foot.
He's not 100% fit at the moment , he's carrying a couple of injuries , most noticeably the collarbone injury from a few weeks ago , I read he's playing through the pain as the the squad is so stretched. He's a hero but he will be so much better in a month or so.
If he picks up a serious injury in February im going to hang myself...
Thank you Pep, forever in our hearts!!!
he didn't have as many injuries in his whole udinese career that he have had here in half of season.
lets' blameto tease daltis.
Loved a lot of the things he did against Los Che but still think, like Gerry Armstrong, that he's exaggerating contact too much - needs to get on with his play...Also does seem like he's not entirely comfortable with what has been asked of him as he seems to be less direct and only waiting to latch on to a through ball...Is that per instructions of Pep?
Paolo Maldini - "In my opinion, Messi should win the Golden Ball each year. He's an unbelievable player."
The contact thing was especially noticeable against Madrid, were he would fall at the slightest contact, which lead to his shoulder injury... I mean, the guy is ripped as hell, I'm pretty sure he could deal with Pepe charging at him... I'm not sure if it was Fernando Palomo or Carlos Bianchi who said in ESPN that he should learn from Messi to stay on his feet in order to get the most out of his talent... When you look at Messi, a dwarf of sorts battling against big defenders it makes you wonder how Alexis is incapable of doing the same when he has a larger muscle mass?
