    Default 9 - Asexis Sanchez

Alexis Sánchez (born on 19 December 1988 in Tocopilla, Chile)

I noticed him at the world cup, where he was like one of the few bright stars in the sky. usually i dont like fancy dribbleres, but i make an exception to him. Very talented player who has a huge workrate also. One of my favourite non-barcelona players

    He currently plays in Udinese.

Huge fan of his. He really started delivering at the end of last season. Love to see him play for us!!

Barca want all the top up and coming players don't they?

Let others have a chance to catch up

He's really an awesome player but such a move would more likely turn out to be bad for both the parties IMHO

Villa only just came to the club(at least has two more years left in his legs, apart from the current season), Pedro is now an established starter & Messi is THE best player in the world... which means Sanchez wont get enough playing time to truely realize his potential! Even if we assume that this move is to sign a player who could replace Villa in time, Sanchez is actually a RF and dont think Pep would want to displace an already established Pedro to the opposite wing in order to accomodate a new youngster!!

And he wont be too cheap to sign either!!

Chelsea are after him too, but Udinese say they won't let him go in January.

How many of you has seen him play? I mean, not from time to time, but constant, at least once in 2-3 games?

He is masively overrated. I mean, he is good player and all, but not worth near those 25 millions Udinese ask for him. Inter are main favourites to get him, Leo wants him, but i dont want him at inter for that ammount of money. If it is 10-15 mils, fine, for more, no. He has speed and brilliant dribbling, but he lacks the end product. He has scored 13 goals in 4 years for Udine, plus has 8? assists, which for attack minded player is awful statistic. His shooting is bad, his passes are bad, his crosses even worse. Of course he can dribble, but dribbling is not worth 25 mils.

Plus, i doubt Barca or whoever else is interested in him. We from Serie A know what kind of president Pozzo is. He always pumps up prices for his players, caliming other big clubs are interested, and tries to sell them. If the interested clubs bite fine, if not, the player stays in udine. It has been the same all over the years, Iaquina, Pepe, D'agostino... They wanted 20+ mils for everyone of these, and everyone left for double less only 6 months later... Same story, different player. Udine claims Chelsea, Zenit, Barca, ManU are interested in him so that they force Inter to get him. Fergie said "he is special player who can overcome Ronaldo" Yeah right, ManU and fergie are not that kind of clubs that play mind games, if the buy, they buy. I bet that if ManU really wanted him (which the media says for over a year now) he would have been ManU player, and they got Bebe anyway.

Dont watch YouTube or few decent performances, watch him closelly. He really lacks the end product badly.

He is an average player, I really don't see how he could be of any use to Inter. There are far better players for that amount of money.

I hope Branca is watching closely and continues his shrewd business.

Gotta agree here. He looks like a brilliant player, but he's not as good as people think he is.

pajo, don't be silly. he is not overrated. he was the best player for chile in WC even though he didn't score or assist any goal. messi didnt score too, but he was still good. same goes with alexis. if you watch his games you can see that he is a hard worker, always pressing tracking players, like pedro. recently he's playing some awesome throughballs, he has good vision and passing.his understanding with isla down the rioght flank reminds me of messi-alves in 2008(2009. if you only watch how many goals strikers score , then you must be pretty dumb. last 10-15 games he has been amazing and hes getting better with every game.
