Some encouraging signs from his Spain tonight.

However towards the end of the match especially after Thiago got subbed off for Roberto, they lost control over the Midfield. Gave me some flashbacks during his time here when we lost control of the Midfield/game due to subs or the team dropping the intensity to much.

The GOAT manager.

Lucho is unreal. Been years since Spain has displayed that level of dominance. Lucho no doubt has them is ultra elite physical conditioning.

Too bad they appointed that Madridista SCUMBAG and FRAUD Hierro for the world cup after the resignation of another Madridista SCUMBAG (Lopetegui). Spain would have done much better with Lucho.

The GOAT.

friendly reminder that Lucho's 2015 Barca was the most dominant team versus other big teams in a long, long time.

In 2015:

Barca v Real Madrid: 2 W in 2 G
Barca v Atletico Madrid: 4 W in 4 G
Barca v City: 2 W in 2 G
Barca v PSG: 2 W in 2 G
Barca v Bayern: 1 W 1 L (led 2-1 at HT at allianz) in 2 G
Barca v Juve: 1 W in 1 G

So, that's 12 W out of 13 G, home or away.

It's a shame Neymar turned into a ball hogging clown and we bought bums from Valencia or the Madrid CL dominance wouldn't have happened.

2016 Atletico was very lucky to lose only 2-1 At Camp Nou after Red card. We should have ended the series right there but missed 10 sitters..

We subbed Suárez at half time and took the foot off the gas in that Bayern game too. Lucho is underrated when you look back, by myself included.

we could read on lucho thread how no big clubs will appoint him because he wasnt that important at barca it was all due to "MSN"

let see how he will do with spain, big job is ahead of him, considering spain since that great generation didnt do nothing on big tournaments, new players in the team, how he will manage that generation transition

If he's a great success maybe we will let him back here next season

Valverde isn't flawless, but the grass looks greener on the other side.

When Enrique was the manager, he wasn't valued, same goes for Valverde.

Lucho > Pep
Reasons:
1. Inhuman, but not alienmonster level Messi (2009-2012)
2. Declining Xavi (maybe as important as Messi for Barca)
3. Declining Dani Alves
4. Had to count on players like Mathieu, Turan, Vidal instead of Abidal, Fabregas, Adriano (yes 10000x better than vidal)
5. Peps away record against medium/high profile teams is atrocious, Luchos was magnificent
6. PSG remontada > AC Milan remontada
7. Lucho had to deal with Pique which mind was only on shagging shakira and building business (no Puyol to put him down to earth)
8. Pep had Messi, Xavi, iniesta, Busi, iniesta in their primes, still didnt win the cl back to back
