Our problems are very deep. Our core is getting over 30 years old and our new "talent" is shit.

It's hard to offload our bad signings because we've signed them to long contracts with high wages and they won't even want to leave.

When tata left we still had a second wind under lucho because our core was still in their prime and just needed motivating and a couple of players (suarez). Rebuilding now is alot harder.

Barca in 2-3 years will be drastically different.No La Masia boys,Messi/Pique/Suarez/Busquets/Alba out of their prime,and GOATmes running the midfield

Amidst the chaos,no one mentioned the GENIUS TACTICAL MOVE of subbing off Gomes(who had been awful) for a winger.Yeah,i am sure that was the righr move to get control of the midfield

I agree, its deeper than just Lucho. Our team needs 'something', whether it is a managerial chance, i dont know.

If he leaves, who do we replace him with? All available options are average at best and will look good on paper but be shit in a few seasons. We've got to get this right. PSG were also good today, they are catching up to us in terms of quality.

How come? Only weak positions are rb and cmf's. Get a technical good coach a good rb and you still have Pique, Umtiti ad Alba. Mascherano for cb and dmf, roberto can play there and in more positions, also get samper back. Just get rid of Arda to china and take your losses with Gomes and Alcacer.
Of our core only Iniesta seems to have los his legs at this points. I still have faith in Messi, Suarez, Pique and Busquets.
Theb we just need quality at midfield to get our control back.

We'll have no choixe than to bring the heat from the very beginning at the return leg. I hope I am not razy enough to expect a crazy line-up like a 3-4-2-1 / 2-5-3

The past summer was the time to do it. But they sign a lot of shit players, that are not fit to our style, and didn't get a proper rb. It's harder to fix mistakes like these.

The passing of the ball from back under Lucho has gone to shit and there is not enough link between defence and midfield.

Players at the back like Umtiti and Roberto are deferring to Pique or Ter Stegen far too often when should be taking more responsibility to play it forward into midfield. It cant be right that a CB passes it back to the GK to take the risky pass upfield.

Part of it is the defenders not being confident/good enough on ball and partly because Lucho has a three man spaced out midfield not looking to break their positions and go looking for ball enough. Busi will at times but usually it is when opposition want him too.

Need to go back to a narrower triangle three in midfield who look to offer options and build up play from back and amongst themselves. The defenders need to take more resplonsibility with passing out from back and front three needs to defend more to allow midfield to do their job.

None of that will happen under Lucho. He is too arrogant and will think the players have failed his system rather than other way round.

Our weak points are currently:
1. zero available RBs (Roberto is not a RB, Vidal injured)
2. the worst midfield since 2003 with 2 best players Iniesta and Busi getting older (Iniesta is already past his prime)
3. MSN and inability to rotate them, bench them, do any tactical move/change regarding them

I mean, for example:
2006' when we won a CL:
We were playing Ronaldinho-Etoo-Guily.
1. if things weren't going well, Ronaldinho and Etoo would change their positions, trying to change some things
2. if that wouldn't work, you could always bring young Messi at RW instead of Guily
3. if that was not enough, you could always bring Larsson instead of some of front three

So, for example, we had 5 quality attacking options: Ronaldinho, Etoo, Guily, Messi, Larsson.
Plus, we could switch positions from this guys (Ronaldinho-Etoo during matches) or Larsson at all positions, to try to shake things.
So, we had 5 different players, a few tactical options (Larsson was good in the air in dying minutes if we couldn't break teams with playing through the ground).
Plus, we could rotate players, keep our attackers fresh for key matches, and any of these players could have been benched in some matches.

What do we have with MSN?
1. we have only 3 playable players, and not 5 attackers like in 2006 for example
2. do they ever interchange positions? Rarely. Only Messi drops deep into midfield
3. are they fresh? No. MSN has to play all matches for 90 minutes, like 3 days ago in 6:0 vs Alaves
4. can you bench any of them? No, they will cause riots
5. do you have a plan B with MSN? No. Plan A is: pass the ball to MSN and hope for the best.
Plan B is: pass the ball to MSN one more time and hope for a different outcome this time, lel.

So, our team is broken on a lot of levels.
MSN is a blessing in one way.
But also a huge burden to this team in a tactical way (you can play only one way with them).
Not to mention, imo, that their level of fitness is never at 100% due to them playing all the time in all La Liga, CL and CDR matches.

Barca's attacking options:
2006: 1. Ronaldinho 2. Etoo 3. Guily 4. Messi 5. Larsson
2009: 1. Messi 2. Etoo 3. Henry 4. Bojan 5. Gudjohnssen 6. even young Pedro to some extent
2011: 1. Messi 2. Villa 3. Pedro 4. Bojan
2015: MSN+Pedro
2017: MSN

So, our current team compared with our former teams:
1. have 0 or 1 RBs
2. weakest midfield since 2003
3. only 3 players in our attack

Our team looks "awesome" when you look at players names (especially MSN trio), but when you dig slightly deeper, this team has so many holes.
And we paid the price in the end.

And this mentioned above is only regarding players, and attack-midfield-defense lines.
Add Lucho's poor tactics to all of this.
And one important thing, lack of hunger.

But anyway, if people don't agree with a lack of hunger, just stay on these points from above: 1. no RB, 2. weak midfield, 3. MSN bourden

Winning teams from 2006, 2009, 2011 and 2015 all had:
1. RBs
2. better midfield
3. more attacking options than ONLY MSN

So, if we forget all other problems (Lucho, hunger), even our rooster is full of holes and problems in all 3 extremely important areas (defense, midfield, attack).

It happens in bad times.
Barca were like that in early 00s, full of scandals and dirty things.

I wouldn't be surprised with clashes between Lucho and some players in upcoming weeks, and then with clashes among some players on trainings or during matches in upcoming weeks.

When the ship is going down, strange things happen.
Again, we had an insanely successful period from 2008 till today, and we were spared of dirty things.

Now, when things will turn grey, anything (dirty things) is possible.
Our players and coaches are people, the same as all other players and coaches and we aren't hollier than anyone else.

Anyway, we should be prepared to a some scandals, possible fights and stupid things till the end of this season.
