But imo Ronnie is the favorite to win this year.
So has Figo. But then again, who would vote for him? -_-

As much as I love Ronaldinho and want to have his babies ... the work Henry did this year was so great, playing out of position and even defending at times he still kept a very positive attitude and his work rate really deserves appreciation. So many memorable goals, namely the brace against Madrid. I would vote for both of them if I could, I think Ronaldinho would have had a great season if he was given more playing time. Anyways, in all fairness I think Titi deserves it. My vote for Henry ...

You nailed it my friend !

"I hear some people say he will never be able to rediscover that form, but I don't think that's correct. He needs to refocus on his game, he needs to get his mind on his game and then I have no doubt that he can be at his best again. Like Messi, he brings so much happiness to football." - Rijkaard on Ronaldinho

    .........he would say that though

I found this Ronnie interview with Sports Illustrated way back in 2006...

"SI.com: There's been a lot of talk about a Nike guerrilla-marketing spot in which you appear to bang a ball off the crossbar over and over again from outside the penalty box without the ball ever touching the ground. It seems humanly impossible. There's no way it's real, right?

Ronaldinho: It's for real! Of course it's for real! (Playfully slaps interviewer on knee.) Are you questioning my abilities?
    "

Disappointment is a sort of bankruptcy - the bankruptcy of a soul that expends too much in hope and expectation

hehe... if he says so i believe him :2145960713mundoemot

    and 'cause of this:

SI.com: You are the World Player of the Year. Are you the best player in the world?

Ronaldinho: I think I have played to a very good standard. I've had the happiness of being given that prize for two years running, but I think there are other players of the same level who could be given the prize. I'm happy that my work has been given that award, and I hope it continues.

    i like him so much.

MJ thanks for the link it was pleasure to read this

Pretty obvious the slap on the knee indicates he is joking.

If you believe that is real you'll also believe this is real

"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." - Danny Blanchflower

You're welcome ... yeah it was an enjoyable read for me as well.
Ronnie is a humble person and very unassuming that's what I like about him.
