He certainly isn't going anywhere this summer . More like a few if the other midfielders may be sold or loaned out .

He needs to be at a club where he'll play every single game if fit. Doesn't matter what league (Portugal, England, Italy, France, etc), but he needs to make that transition from youth to professional before it's too late. Either that, or the club puts faith in him and gives him 30+ games. Another Jonathan Dos Santos situation might happen if he rides the bench into his prime years.

Busi, Rakitic, Roberto, Gomes are currently better Cdms.
Mascherano also probably.

It is hard to turn a 6th choice in terms of quality into a 2nd choice only because he is a domestic, likeable kid.

Surely Samper is a fuc!@#$ train wreck if Gomes is currently ahead of him. Gomes is one of the worst players I have seen wearing our shirt.

He's not. BBZ just likes to use hyperbole to make his point. We don't even have 6 players who can play CDM but Samper is 6th choice to him, lol.

We both know Masch is not a Barca DM and in any other discussion you'd agree with that. Besides, he's going to be playing CB 99% of the time he steps on the pitch, even if he is 3rd choice now. Rakitic is almost always a a CM when played as even despite our supposedly stacked midfield, he's unfortunately probably the best we have. Gomes is much worse than Samper at CDM, imo. Samper played better against Apoel and Chelsea than we've ever seen from Gomes, especially coming from CDM.

And I won't even bother addressing Paulinho.
