Doing the right thing with the 4231 and double pivot. Suit us much more than trying to play 433 which look like a 442 with Messi btw. Looking a bit like Ajax today you can see the influence of his assistant who was also Ten Haags assistant.

Finally a manager with a strong personality who actually has a legendary playing career with Barca as well.

Will do well in imposing structure and discipline and getting rid of the country club atmosphere.

Let's wait a little. We demoslihed Vilarreal with both Valverde and Setien. They are abysmal against us usually.

There are good signs and bad signs, like Busquets still playing from the first minute.

So far so good.

We win 5-1 away against Villarreal couple of weeks before the Bayern thrashing. They are obviously bad or a team that is easy for us to play against. So this performance is not telling.

For now I like the 4231 with De Jong closer to defense and he acknowledges we news runners in behind this playing Ansu. He need more transfers though as one player who run in behind + Alba is not enough.

Great game from Barca with the first half being alot better than the second , but Villareal were quite open aswell. Luckily Barca will face Sevilla and Real this upcoming month. Hopefully by then Griezmann and Busquets will get benched if they keep up these garbage performances.
