Default Barca looking for a striker in January?

Catalan press are hinting that Barca will be looking for a striker in January.
Gervinho, Willian, Dzeko, Gomez, Tevez and Suarez are the names being thrown around.
What do you think of those names and are January transfers a realistic option considering our reluctance to shop in winter.
We would have to consider players being unavailable for remainder of our Champions League campaign as well.
Personally, I´d pick Gomez on loan. He is half Spanish and could be that B option we don´t have. Shame he couldn´t play CL.

Tevez?? REALLY? Oh my...He would destroy the Madrid's defense in a flash! I don't know though, he looks happy with Manchester City at the moment so it's not going to look like a dream deal to me. Suarez (the Uruguayan)...maybe because he's a pretty good striker at the same time people won't forgive him for what he did vs Ghana but I don't care! Anyways I don't know, do we need strikers...?

I think we've to write Tevez and Suarez off, because they're not situbale for January transfer.

I mean we've to choose a functional choice, not big one.

Remember what Real Madrid had done last year in order to improve their stability in midfield? They could choose many big options, but their choice was Lassana Diara who was an amazing one.

I think we've to do the same and choose an option which is really functional and useful, instead of bringing some player who only can create type of crisis in the team.

I've no idea about the player whom we need, but I'm sure that he has not to be very famous one.

Of the names mentioned only Suarez and Tevez are the ones who could fit right in... no language barriers and all. But Tevez would be too costly. Suarez I'm not sure if he would be available for CL, the Catalan newspapers seem to just rule that possibility out!!
I like Willian, his work rate, his tricks every thing, but isn't too prolific in front of the goal. The CL cup-tieed reason works here too
Gervinho is a very good wing-forward, nice work ethic & all but I don't know if he would fit right in and actually solve the purpose of a January buy!!
Dzeko I guess is not even in the agenda what with the player's value and his love for Italy!! But just yesterday I was talking to a friend of mine saying only Llorente and Dzeko could be ideal CF signing for Barca
Gomez is a choker, and I seriously doubt if he could manage the pressure of Camp Nou when he couldn't do it at Bayern!!

God I wish there was no rule in Spain shielding the clubs from January transfers... Leaves us with options only to try and get Argentine or other Spanish speaking people. Lavezzi could be an option. Maxi Lopez too. or Just get Fernando Torres

Oscar Cardozo. He's ideal for Barca theoretically. Very clinical in front of goal, turns most good passes behind the defense into goals and does not slow up the play upfront like Zlatan did.
So yes, my vote would go to Oscar Cardozo, based on the knowledge i have about this player.

EDIT: Cardozo is not much of a creative nor he isn't a very technical player, but in my eyes he would still fit in Barca because in all honesty, a poacher as a CF for us would be quite amazing.

I would pick Dzeko for sure,he will add height and strength to our attack,we dont have 30m to spend in january so its highly unlikely,so I will go for him in the summer,if not its Llorente for me,we need a striker who adds another dimension not another player who may end up playing on the wing

Cardozo actually seems like a good shout tbh maybe he's a type of a player that we need for that plan B.

I think Tevez would be great, he's physically strong and works hard for the teams he plays in but it doesn't look like he's going to leave MCity any time soon and he'd be too expensive. Having said that Suarez is probably the next choice for me as he has flow and isn't shy of going down to a challenge :P which is what barca are lacking atm

Suarez will not fit the Barca style,he does not want to pass the ball to a team mate, most of the time he goes for his own chance.
For Ajax he's good, but not good enough for a european top club especially not Barca.

Yes but I think right now we need more players that take shots on goal and tbh suarez isn't THAT selfish

But Suarez is a poorer version of Messi so why bring a same profile of a player. We need something new, I think the whole purpose of eventual January transfer is just that.

Definitely would like an attacking option that differs from what is already at Pep's disposal...Big striker with some burst
Paolo Maldini - "In my opinion, Messi should win the Golden Ball each year. He's an unbelievable player."
