The buyout clause doesn't matter. It can be € 1 million. As long as the player doesn't want to go, he won't.

€ 12 million would be a bargain by the way. He's one of the biggest talents in world football, rated even higher than Thiago. The chances of him turning into a total failure all of a sudden are slim.

Official: Barcelona have announced a deal on the renewal of B attacker Rafinha (18) until 2014. Buy-out: 12M, then 30M. Signature on Monday
Alfredo Di Stéfano, Real Madrid's greatest ever player and the honorary president, spoke out. "Barcelona's football was simply brilliant," he said in his weekly column. "Their superiority was there for the whole planet to see: the whites were cornered all game. Barcelona play football and dance. They treat the ball with adoration and respect, almost nurturing it. To see this team in action is a delight."

With Cesc, Messi, and Thiago all in their early 20's and Iniesta barely 27... where will he play? What about Deulofeu and Samper? I think at least two of them will go elsewhere for playing time.

Samper's 16, so he still has quite a way to go.

Deulofeu should not even be mentioned here, as he's more of a winger than midfielder so none of the midfield positions really concern him.

We'll have to loan some people out of let them go within a couple of years... Especially Bartra/Fontás and Sergi Roberto/JDS, possibly also Cuenca/Tello

IMHO if Abi resigns one of Bartra/Fontas will go out on loan (specially if Oriol Romeu comes back Masch will be definitely CB).
Plus Sergi Roberto will problably go on loan too.
Cuenca might grab the Affelay spot on the team so Affelay could be sold next summer.

    My guess for rotation:

2012/2013 (cheaper version without big signings)

    ......................VV/New GK maybe Andrada

    Dani/Montoya..Pique/Masch..Puyol/Fontas or Bartra..Abi/Adriano

    ............................Busq/Romeu
    .........Xavi/Thiago..........................Iniesta/Keita/Cesc

    Alexis/Cuenca....Leo/Soriano....Villa/Pedro

but to 2014 (when youngsters return) maybe:

    ......................VV/Andrada

    Dani/Montoya..Pique/Bartra..(Thiago Silva?/Ruiz?)/Fontas..(Alba)/Grimaldo

    ............................Busq/Romeu
    .........Cesc/Thiago..........................Iniesta/Sergi Roberto

    Alexis/Cuenca....Leo/Rafinha....Neymar/Pedro/Delofeu

    Any toughts fellows?

Apparently Mazinho couldn't be at Camp Nou because he was in Vigo, were his daughter won the basketball national champions.
