Paul Scholes

A real legend of the game, had a very good shot on him and one of the best passers in history. I remember Lippi saying if he could build a team around one player it would be Paul Scholes. An example in and outside the pitch.

Well its no surprise that he knocked you out in a similar fashion.

that goal was really the end of Zambrotta. he got completely owned by Cristiano, which dragged Yaya out of the middle of the pitch. then Zambo cleared it into the middle of the pitch, where Scholes just walked onto it and smashed it in the top corner. and when you see Messi just stand there and watch him go, you realise the true extent of what Pep has done for this team.

He could probably still play in all fairness.

Messi let who go? I was at Old Trafford that game and the general consensus amongst the United fans after that game was that they had never seen a player like Messi.

He was head and shoulders above everyone else. Poor old Scholes kept getting isolated and tormented by him. Great goal by Scholesy though but united were thoroughly outplayed.
