He's benched for this game.... while in Rangers, he always did well once getting in to play.

    1-0 Atletico though, Jurado goalscorer.

What a goal it could have been for Aguero. Forlan opens his account though.

    De Gea is awesome.

Atletico's defense is still looking shaky though.

Not bad from the artist formerly known as Patetico. Good thing I put Forlan on my fantasy team.

Sporting looks decent on the attack, though they are helped out by Quique's passive tactics and Atleti's still iffy defending (to be fair Dominguez isn't playing and like always Perea is worthless against inferior opposition)

Well done until now for Pathetico. But they're far from a convincing side now, many defensive errors.

Credit Sporting for putting up a fight, they aren't exactly Levante you know.

    Of course

But it was and it is never a problem beating Sporting for either Sevilla, Pathetico, Valencia... let alone Barca or Madrid

Actually it was always teams like Sporting that made Pateti shit the bed...last year they got 4 points from them but gave up 3 goals in the process. If they can keep a clean sheet it's going to keep the morale going and make them all the more dangerous...I know never have too high expectations for Patetico but on paper that team is good enough to compete for the title.

In a way, im glad we get the Atletico away game out the way early doors. A draw would be a decent result there

    4 - 0 Simao

Looks like Atleti starts the season as league leaders.

Best team in Madrid, Los Rojiblancos
Paolo Maldini - "In my opinion, Messi should win the Golden Ball each year. He's an unbelievable player."
