    Who thought they were hopeless ? they made many great deals .. only someone who don't follow the European leagues would claim such a thing

    There's a lot of people on this forum who thought Valencia would be terrible but it's also clear that a lot of people on this forum only care about Barca and maybe Madrid and otherwise ignore La Liga..except for a few of us more people around here are EPL experts than La Liga ones.

    Like last year where signings like Mathieu were underrated, it's clear this current Valencia management is very shrewd.

    Indeed very shrewd , all their signings this summer without exception
    they took two talented play makers from Ligue 1 for peanuts , two established liga strikers for peanuts .. free defender and made huge profit on top
