Please tell me one team that has a deeper squad than us. Real Madrid maybe but not by much, and they're already having injuries, 3 out of 4 of their centrebacks are injured already. Plus we have a stronger starting eleven.

Yeah I forgot about him, but he barely played last season and people thought he was a liability whenever he did. And we bought Adriano which means Puyol won't have to play as a RB anymore. Also we bought Chygrynskiy last season because Milito and Marquez were both out injured in the beginning of the season, which left us with only two fit centrebacks...this season we'll have four centrebacks (if Caceres stays) plus whatever youth players we have.

Jam, if that article is correct in its assertions, one of Busquets and Iniesta would sit from the first choice alignment. I can't see that happening. The only way Pedro is guaranteed a starting spot is if Ibra sits the bench or Pep plays the 4-2-3-1/4-2-4 he used at times last year.

We won't. We have Busquests (WC DM remember!?!) and Pique can play there if needed (that is why Pep is keeping Caceres for the moment). If we still need another DM because of suspensions or injuries, then we have Jonathon or even Keita.

Pep has looked at what there is in the market and he doesn't feel that what is on offer represents value for money or is not an improvement on what we have already in house.

Let's save the money, stick to our policy and let's give the 3 kids a chance.

Exactly!!! We dont need to sign new players for back up ffs how would Xavi Iniesta etc have come through if we bought someone every summer?? The younger players need the chance they will probably be given this season!! And ya they'll probably have a few bad games but its a big step up for them.
