A solid point...yet stupid by Mourinho don't you think??? Trying to make a point by risking the only striker (according to Mourinho, who doesn't at all count Morata...not even as half striker!) left. He should know better IMO..."the best coach in the world" definitly should know better and rather start working on/thinking about solutions that come from within the team he already has at his disposual. Everything else is just a waste of time...he should accept the clubs decision, who IMO want to wait till summer transfer window opens in order to go for their long term targets (Llorente, J. Martínez, Bale etc...). With the new FIFA rule regarding tranfers, which is kicking in this summer (if i'm not wrong), money needs to be safed now, since you can only spend what you earned before during the season (again, if i'm not wrong).

Atm we are playing with almost 10 men considering Benzema goals are as rare as snow in the desert .. 1 goal in the league , i think
we are counting on the wingers (CR,Di Maria and center Ozil ) for our goals .. how far can we go without a goal scorer ?

Sure he will be judged at the end of the season...but he already pointed this striker debate out at the begining of the season and during the season every now and then again. Pérez & Valdano are not stupid, they got the point made. He should have covered his ass more than enough on that part by now!!! But enough is enough...cheering a dead horse is pointless.

The thing i really don't like is...finally the club - represented by Pérez & Valdano - refuses to buy its way out of problems and instead shows some faith (a lot of faith givin the situation combined with the titles the club plays for) in its Cantera products, by telling their coach the solution is Morata and what seems to be the end of the story??? We now have a coach who doesn't seem to have the balls to give the kid "that sort of chance" and instead refuses to regard Morata as even half an option!!!

Morata just can't do a worse job than Benzema has done so far. It all smells like Mourinho is more concerned about his personal trophy record and his "Grand Slam" before he goes back to Inter or takes over ManU within 1 or 2 years, than he is with the clubs benefits. Yes, winning trophies is in the club's benefit, but that is not where it ends! He should stop placing his ego over the club and start using his brain on how to get the best out of Morata. If he can't do it with the Castilla and with what he's already got, he is not the right man to be in charge and the club should look somewhere else IMO.

Look you can easily burn Morata for good (look @ Portillo ) .. there is a difference between playing him when you are winning slowly slowly and playing him as a starter and blaming him for defeats .
even people like Michel and other managers asked Jose to play Canales small time in order not to burn him
Jose understand the club more than any other manager in recent times (except for Fabio ) he know that the moment he fail they will come with knives for his neck and he is covering his ass and saying it like it is.. yes it's great to see Morata play but a big difference between play Morata and counting on Morata to win us titles.. too much weight on a young kid shoulder

They have consistently played some of the best football in Europe this season, and they have since appearing out of nowhere in the middle of the last decade. Every time you think they have hit the wall, like when Valverde almost drove them into the ground last season, they come back stronger, and even injuries don't seem to slow them down.

As much as La Liga has issues, Villarreal shows that with good management, throwing around money is overrated. Whenever fans of clubs like Valencia and Atletico bitch about how they can't keep up with Barca and Madrid, they should look at what Villarreal is able to do with even less profits.

Valencia and Villarreal has become one of the most fun rivalries out there.

For all the shit that the Copa gets, the past two days clearly show just how much talent is still in Spain.
