    Osasuna-Athletic Bilbao 1:1
    (Pandiani, Llorente)

First half was a bit boring with only one good chance bye Masoud, Osasuna was dominating and Athletic was concentrated on building quality counter attacks. There were also 2 shots on goal by a former Barcelona player Santiago Ezquerro but they went wide. The only two players worth noticing in the first half were Ezquerro and Juanfran-right winger, who managed to dribble inside the Osasuna defence and pass to Ezquerro and others. The second half was far better. The teams didnt change their styles of playing, Osasuna was still trying with short passes and Athletic was concentrated on counter attacks. The biggest chance for Athletic came from corner kick, but Gabilondo missed the target from the two meter distance, really an embarrassing miss. In the second half in the game entered Delporte and Pandiani for Osasuna. Delporte was trying on the left side and Pandiani waited in the penalty box for a real chance. And then around 80th minute Monreal, the weakest part of Osasuna defence but very good offensively, managed to get past two players and to cross in the middle, after some rebounding the ball came to Pandiani who scored from 5 meters. And after the goal Osasuna controlled the game but then in the last minute of the match Athletic launched a counter attack and Llorente scored after one great save from Ricardo.
Osasuna seems like a team that really likes to control the game and that will be impossible for her against Barcelona. Messi will have an easy job getting past Monreal on the left side of their defence.
They are a good home team and the atmosphere is great, thats the only thing that worries me. They will get all pumped up for the game and they will do everything to prevent our players from scoring the goal. The quality is surely on our side but they have lost only 2 times in 8 games at home(thats good for the last team in La Liga). I think it will be over if we score the goal first.
If we score an early goal we could win by bigger margin but it will be difficult to score..

Sevilla in the semi-final. Valencia are only proving their down-trend

    First semi-final match: Sevilla-Bilbao 2-1

Wouldn`t it be nice to play Athletic in final? 2 clubs that marked the history of Copa with most titles in that competition. Yes, Bilbao took the cup more times than Madrid!
