Well, I do honestly think that while Mourinho is a great coach, you need the players to go out there and perform. Inter may have lost their manager but they still have that player pool who know what it takes to grind out results and win the CL.

They are also overaged and now too spoiled after winning several titles esp. the triple. I dont see them getting past the quarters this year and i also would be wondering if they could win the seria a again. Although the competition (Milan, Juve etc.) sucks too, so maybe they might still make it.

I expect a lot from Bayern as well, but next year will be too early. Barca will win it, defeating them somewhere in the progress. 2012 will be their time though ... they will win the CL at home (final is in munich!), van Gaal will swith jobs with Löw and lead germany to their 4th WC win two years later ...

Excuse me but why would the german fa hire a dutchman A DUTCHMAN to manage the national side?!?!

I can see Low managing Bayern after euro 2012 though, but not swapping positions with Van Gaal going the other way.

I admit you know a lot more about german football than me, but surely the german public will not accept a dutchman managing the national side?
Football is a simple game, complicated by idiots.

They will accept van Gaal. He currently has a very positive image, not only b/c he almost won the treble with Bayern and made them play some awesome football. He is also very charismatic in public appearances (interviews, tv shows etc.). Löw on the other side will want to coach a club one day and there is nothing better than coachin Bayern, esp. as he knows half the players from the NT and he follows the same style as van Gaal - which was more than obvious when you saw germanys WC performance. Van Gaal succeeding Löw makes sense for the same reason, and van Gaal also already stated that he wants to train a NT after 2012 - either germany, spain or argentina.

I mean a lot can happen within the next two years, but from what i see at the moment, such a swap would fit in perfectly.

Why have Spurs in block letters?

    Are they somehow special?

    Dynamo vs Ajax

    Werder vs Sampdoria

    Zenit vs Auxerre

these are going to be tough ties...

Because he copied and pasted from the BBC website and they list the British teams in capitals when draws are made
