    Default Bruno linked with Barca

Bruno is a 26 year old midfielder from Villarreal and has been linked with a move to Barca as a replacement for Yaya Toure, according to Catalan press.

We don't need to sign another DM. If we sign Cesc, Keita and Busquets square off for the pivot role. Bruno is not to Barca's standard.
Better off keeping Marquez and playing him at full time DM this year. There is no one in the market that has the ball skills to play there whilst being a destroyer at the same time other than Mascherano. Someone we should spend the money on if Cesc is not going to come.

    Yo amigo how are things?

Marquez has concentration issues and can't be counted on any more. Keita is not really a DM mate and if you remember in the second (or third) year under Rijkaard we had a massive problem at DM, we can't let that happen again so he need to buy a specialist. Although I am not sure that Bruno is the man for the job. What we should do, although can't afford, is buy Jack Rodwell from Everton and bring him up the Barca way.

Keita isn't a DM at all. Then again, I haven't seen him play at DM, but his box-to-box role at Sevilla, Lens and now Barca make me think he will find it hard to be disciplined to anchor the midfield. He's always had a DM alongside him. In fact, we need to sign a DM because having just Busquets isn't enough.

I hear he was photographed with a Madrid shirt, so that one is out the window.

    Hello Sunny,

When Marquez has concetration issues at CB we conceed goals. However as a DM I think he will fit in fine. He plays there for Mexico and does well.
I don't know, I think Toure leaves a massive void that I think only Mascherano can fill, but if not keep Marquez. He knows the system and costs us nothing...
We can't rely on Busquets all year. I think Kieta will be able to play there too...I'm interested to see how goes there actually...

point is, don't spend money on a guy thats not going to come in and make a difference like Bruno or Tiago..

we need to buy a back-up for Busi... discussion ends there, 'no need to buy a player who is not gonna make difference' is crap!! Keita is no "difference-maker", Maxwell is no "difference-maker", Pinto is no "difference-maker" but are all essential players!!

When Busi gets suspended/needs rest we need some body to step in for him, Marquez is not fit for that job... at least for the fat pay-check he receives he's not the right person for that job!!

Yeh we definitely need some cover for Busi. Great shout about Rodwell Sunny, but obviously nothing more than that unfortunately. Bruno is ok but not really good enough for us IMO. Surely we can find someone better to do the role. Marquez played well as always for Mexico but I'd have real doubts about playing him in important games next season if Biscuits weren't there.

    Haha well said, Stoke.

I completely want Rodwell to come, but that's going to cost us as much as Cesc :0

How many times do we have to tell people that Cesc, Keita, and Marquez do NOT have the quality to effectively cover the DM position? Cesc is an obvious one, and Keita isn't as defensive as everyone thinks he is, and Marquez lost a few steps since his prime. We need someone who can play like Busi, not a star like how everyone already mentioned.

Rodwell is too young. dont forget about Oriol guys, he's gonna be mature enough in a few years.
