"Room for improvement" lol. As if reason for craptastic performance against Athletic is some fresh and mysterious problem that is yet to be figured out and not at all been a plague for last two seasons. Better loose now and later loose even more spectacularly would be the correct assessment.

I mean, he's actually not wrong. If flaws are exposed early you have time to fix them. For example if Valverde gets exposed at the start of the season maybe he'll be fired before the business end of the season.
Of course, whether we will actually bother fixing the issues is another matter entirely...

What is more annoying than complaining fans are complainers about complaining fans, who pose themselves all balanced and level headed, making all these condescending reconciliatory remarks. People should be righteously pissed off about our apathetic players and coach and their pathetic showing. Players themselves, if they have any pride and ambition, should be even more pissed. Instead we see the same shitshow week in week out, with obvious glaring faults that repeat again and again and no sign of them being aware of them or trying to weed them out. Then go on the record with yet another empty platitude in the vein of que sera sera, maaan.
