He converted a solid mid-table team like Wigan into a relegation threatened club and they remained in PL only thanks to their luck and the lack of motivation in Stoke City players. Actually all important players, N'Zogbia, Rodallega, Watson, Figueroa, Boyce (add Cattermole and Palacios, who were sold)- they all were brought by Steve Bruce. Martinez made awful transfers like the one with Boselli. I doubt they can survive next season.
