on the one hand, fantastic bit of business from bobby martinez and it'll be great to see him in the PL next season.

on the other hand, how depressing is it that WIGAN can afford a player of boselli's quality? fucking PL money.

    Default Premier League 10-11

The most surprising transfer so far for me has been Cana from Sunderland to Gala. He had a good season and he was let go for only £5m!

Liverpool are signing Paul Scharner from Wigan and Mascherano has said he wants to go to Inter Milan. Just shows what a sorry state Liverpool have become thanks to the people running it to be after average players who can't get into Wigan's team. Although I wouldn't mind playing a liverpool team first game of the season that don't have Mascherano, Benayoun and possibly Gerrard and Torres - but I think Torres will stay.

TBH as a squad player I wouldn't mind Scharner.
Guardiola is quoted as telling Catalan radio: “Liverpool Academy is the only one who can compete at "La Masia". If they can manage those lads, then maybe 20 star players can arrive from that academy.”

Watching David Silva is like watching Pornography.

Thanks Ry, yeah I know that the UK has more regional teams than just the country itself, its just the original Italian article I read only said he was British so I assumed he was English. Maybe that is a good thing as he is not likely to be getting tired in summer tournaments.
he was just calling gareth bale, a gorilla...

Martin Jol in talks with Fulham apparently. Obviously thinks Fulham is a step up from Ajax.

Or more than likely the premier league is a step up from the dutch league.

Jol wanted to go though. Ajax didn't let him and Jol said he was very disappointed not to join Fulham.

Ajax are, and always will be, a bigger club than Fulham.

God doesn't pick football teams but if he did.... they'd probably look like this

Agreed but sadly, it is the league set-up that matters. For instance, looking at these fair shores, very few English clubs could match the pulling power of Celtic and Rangers. However, they play in a shite league so small clubs from big leagues with money to burn will always be a more attractive proposition. Sad but true

What are Newcastle like to watch? I know nothing about them since they were relegated, but they are playing Depor here on the 4th for a friendly cup. Is it worth to go see you think or are they terrible to watch now?

Well they aren't like Stoke, but they aren't like Arsenal either.

    Hope this helps

Hmmm, don't really know anything about Stoke, am guessing they are pretty shit though?

I remembered Fabricio Coloccini aka Side Show Bob plays for Newcastle, I think i'll go just to see his gigantic afro again.

Well Stoke play the worst football in the league by a long way. They play in the cliche "English" style and are really the only ones who do so these days.

Newcastle are ok (they have Joey Barton too who is quality, bit of a cnut though). They did well to keep most of their better players like him and Nolan, Gutiérrez may play too if he comes back from his break in time.
