Heard that Nani threatened Querioz with suicide if he was not selected for the World Cup. Even though he had a fracture in his leg, he went on to participate.

Well mate, the true story we don't know, but the fact is that injry is very, very strange... well all participation of the team in last WC was plenty of strange things (Nani, Deco...). At the moment, portuguese Federation install a process against the coach (insults to dopping comission, during the preparation of WC)...

Yep, a lot of problems going on there. Really don't care about it, but it was very interesting reading something like that, cited from Queiroz.

A player of these days is ready to die for national team, unusual.

Quieroz is off then! Awful start to the quals, they can't continue like that. Maybe he'll drop back in at United like after his season with Real

What a waste for Portugal. They could actually compete in WC under proper coach who would get everything under control, but Queiroz was trash. Good to see him go. Now the FA needs to think hard about who to hire so there are no more bloopers in qualifiers.

Ricardo Carvalho left the training camp in Cyprus and quit the national team.

Gotta love Wolfgang Stark and his double standards.

Pepe's reputation precedes him, can't blame a referee taking a players mental retardation into account whilst making a big decision in a crunch game
