Oh btw I agree he is not worth 70m... even I say that...
But then again I don't think anyone is worth 70m![]()

Paying more money for Torres than Villa makes no sense. Villa is more prolific (Torres has an absolutely ridiculous goals per game ratio for Liverpool, but looking at the big picture Villa is the most consistent striker in Europe) and though he's older, Torres is more injury prone and reliant on his athleticism.
70M? Sounds like a stupid rumor by the English. If he was Catalan or a youth product it would be one thing, but he's not.

I wouldnt say Barca defence, which is probably one of the best, if not best in the world is amateurs :P
I actually think the reason why La Liga defence seems so bad is becouse the attack is so much better then EPL
Gracias Pep
I heard the price is not 70m but 50m, but none of this is reliable really. Not to me anyway
Well I love Ibra to death but if Pep has lost faith in him I reckon we should accept Man City's reported offer of Robhinho plus £20 million for Ibra .
Robhinho was amazing for Brasil tonight .
No Robinho... ugh
And yeah Torres is definitely worth 50m but I still don't think he should go to Barca yet. But I don't want him at Chelsea either and the longer it takes Liverpool to find a new coach, the more likely it is that him and others would want out of the club.
So maybe Barca should just "rescue" him![]()
Well, we speak in Cesc, Torres, Robinho... I think that in the end everythng will stay at the same, with Ibra in front with Villa...

You say you want Torres at Barca but not now. My question is when exactly do you want him? Every year he stays with Liverpool he risks getting injured further or dramatically. He's 26, pretty much should be in his prime. While Torres has a lot of skill, his skill and confidence is heavily rooted in his pace. Waiting 2-3 years he'll only be declining in accelleration (maybe not yet when he's already sprinting) and will become only more injury prone. For me Torres is either now or never. In 2-3 years Bojan will be 22-23 so we wont need him and Pedro will be in his prime. Also a large factor in why we want him is b/c of his partnership with Villa, in 2-3 years Villa will be 31-32....It just doesn't make sense to me. If you're going to invest 69 million (Ibra, 28) or 50-60 million (Torres, 26), why not just invest in an established player who is young? Developing Bojan (since I consider him to have infinite more potential than Pedro) or buying Pato (20), an already established young player seems the way to go, especially with Pep developing him.

I don't really understand why you want Torres, you already have Ibra and have just bought Villa. Still, Liverpool are in a very bad way financially and I doubt they would get anywhere near 70m for him.
