I don't think they will cease to exist, but they have been financially crippled and presumably wont be competitive (with Celtic) for along time. In the immediate term, they will now get a -10 point deduction in the league, making them -16 from top. The state of the SPL though, even with that they will still finish 2nd comfortably.

Even though my club is Motherwell, it's sad to see the most succesful club in the world end up this way
