The buzz on him seems to keep building

    From MD

Today is the undisputed leader and Captain of Quique Álvarez' Cadet A team, sitting atop the League five points ahead of Espanyol.

Enguene plays in the interior like his idols Xavi and Iniesta, particularly reknowned for his exquisite technique in all areas of the game: control, short passing and long, adept at using inside and outside of the foot, dribbling and shooting. Tactically, plays like a veteran: he knows when to keep his position and maintain the ball and know when to advance on offense, something he excels at with his powerful physique and easy scoring ability.

High character person, on and off the field. Very responsible boy and La Masia speaks highly of him. On the pitch he is always working, showing his character and is the one that steers the team when things go wrong. They say those who know him best say that his greatest virtue is his competitiveness. Potential is very, very high, and next season would not be surprising if he skipped the Junior B and pass directly to A. If you want to know him better, this Saturday Espanyol-Barcelona in Sant Adrià.

Glad to see he's potential is being fulfiled, and clearly he's a leader if he continues as captain through the youth teams.

When I hear his name though, I always pronounce it as Un-genie in the form of...

They may be older than they actually say/think they are. They also have physical attributes that other kids don't have yet (or will never have) at that age which gives them an advantage, but this disappears when they get older.
Remember martins from Inter? Freddy adu lol

Although I really appreciate this kid's skills, I don't completely agree with you. His physical attributes really do give him an advantage, which makes it easier for him to show his technical ability

I've never seen him out muscled opponents, he uses more of his brain and technical ability, he is not that big anyway compared to his peers.

I'm sure we're going to be hearing & seeing far more of Enguene this coming season as he is likely to bypass Juvenil B and head straight to Juvenil A...Means NextGen competition as well
