The question should have been:Which has the second best midfield?Or how far behind are the rest of the countries in relation to Spain?

This poll isn't even fair with Xavi in it :)

Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets Xabi Alsonso, Fabregas, David Silva, Mata, Marcos Senna, Navas.

Holland have a good midfield too. France do too... on paper anyways

I won't vote..

I'm confused between two options.. Spain & Netherlands, both of them has great midfielders.. Sneijder and Robben are superb, and also Xavi & Iniesta same..

At one time, this was always a debate between South American countries but atm it's hands down a Spanish dominance

I do agree that their midfield has a great balance, Gattuso and Pirlo were once the greatest midfield pairing in football. Now, I don't know. It will be interesting who will take up these two roles when they are done. I think De Rossi is a candidate; however, is is more of a mix of the two. I admire Giovinco, I think he needs to find a new club since Juve obviously don't value him as much as he should be
