I think Laporta's program looks very improvised. All he has is names, people around (and some bloodsuckers that shouldn't be there) but I've found him very disappointing. Considering how bad he managed the economy of the club after Soriano left, it's not looking very good. For the most part, I liked Laporta when he was a president, but to me he's the worst candidate by far. He certainly loves the idea of being the president again, but it doesn't look like he has given as much thought as the other candidates. He seems to prefer enjoying life. Under him, I would be very scared about the economy.

Completely agree. Things looked fine while original board was there but by the time almost all of original team walked away from Laporta's despotism things turned sour and then the spying and other controversies started.
Laporta is a charismatic man but with no substance and without capable people around him he's just a small town fat sheriff.

I'm a bit worried, guys. Laporta doesn't seem to have his shit together at all. For some strange reason he keeps harping on his good relations with key members of the club yet hasn't trumpeted at all the relative success of La Masia under his tenure, a key problem the club is facing currently.

I just have the sense Barto will try and turn this club into another Madrid and whore out every dime he can get. Laporta on the other hand hasn't offered much concrete about his vision of the future for this club and while I trust him enough to eventually find a direction once he gets in, it's hard to beat an incumbent unless you have a compelling vision or plan.

If only Benedito...

Laporta has gone on at length about La Masia...which was not all the successful under his tenure and the vast majority of player he takes credit for were there before he arrived.

Laporta keeps talking about La Masia values but wants to buy a young midfielder for more than 80m euro and with 12m salary, even more than what the likes of Iniesta, Pique and Busquets earn. What the F*CK ?

Precisely because some people mock Bartomeu because of his looks. Sometimes you need to lower yourself to their level.

Why haven't you complained when Bartomeu was insulted?

I haven't called Bartomeu ''rat face'' and I haven't called Laporta ''fat''. In fact, I've always refused to comment on any insult towards both candidates but I noticed you insulting Laporta quite a few times whereas you complained about people insulting Bartomeu which is quite illogical, but that's just me.

I don't know if it's necessary for you to participate in something you actually refuse or do you just want to emphasize your antipathy towards Laporta whenever you get the chance?

Before you say anything: I like to emphasize my antipathy towards Bartomeu whenever I get the chance but the difference is that I don't need desperate inclusions of baseless insults such as remarks regarding someone's weight or Laporta's relationship with a porn star to show that I dislike someone.

Long story short: Applying double standards is not cool.

All depends how you use them. I've seen too many people dismissing Bartomeu based on his appearance and can't really bother anymore but to counter with language they understand.

Haven't seen anyone stand up and cry foul play until saint Laporta is topic.
