    It WAS entertaining, IMO.

When WWF/WWE had great wrestlers and great entertainers basically, because how you said it's more like this than actually wrestling. I can't get entertained with the likes of John Cena, Batista or Randy Orton, after I've grown up with The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. It's absolutely impossible. Too much difference between them.

Used to watch it in the late 90s / early 00s. The Rock was different class. They screwed up when they bought out the WCW and merged it with the WWE. They should've kept it separate and ran the two brands simultaneously.

WWE went downhill when they stopped the badmouthing and the mocking and went with a watered version of it all. They used to put a lot effort into the storyline of every feud, it actually felt like a Tv show, like every week they would reveal a new part of the story.

Now it seems like its all about a steroid competition, wrestlers have no personality and most never even talk. Charisma seems to be frown upon cause even wrestlers like Chris Jericho, who used to be all about charisma has lost his touch.

Only just finished watching Wrestlemania. Sad to see HBK go, not a fan of the Undertaker these days seen as he's so old and cliched. Nice ovation of HBK as he left though. It was certainly at its best around the Attitude era, so many more characters and great stories then. Orton is the only one I like of the newer crop, Cena is massively annoying, Batista has 0 charisma and sums up the current bunch.

WWE needs Mankind to come back and save the business.

Although i am mainly a football fan , my one true childhood idol , was Stone Cold steve Austin. I am so fortunate i grew up in the glory days when guys like , Stone Cold , The Rock , Triple H , Shaun Michaels, The Undertaker , The masked Kane , Proper tag teams like the dudleys , the Hardys , Edge and Christian. All the Hell in the Cell matches , when guys were risking there career to entertain , because it's what they lived for. Now i look at the current WWE roster , who do kids have to look up to ? , Batista ? , John Cena ? , The Miz ?. It's a great shame that this once great buisness and profession has turned into a cash cow , yes it was before , but now everything is geared towards money , and the fans just seem happy to swallow it , Vince Mcmahon put WWE from an 18 to a pg for a very good reason . $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. The WWE now make there money from merchandice , bought by the young kids , who don't realy understand wrestling , but ofcourse it is cool to have all the equipment as a young boy or girl. It all feels so dolled up , so manafactured , there's no grit , no proper rivalrys. It's a great shame that the WWE has fallen this far , but there is still some hope for it to be the force it once was. That one hope , relies on one thing , the fans waking up to the dross they are paying to watch , and make a stand and say " I'm sorry , but this is just not good enough".

WWE really died when the 'attitude era' kicked the bucket. they had really good storylines! Obviously fake, but i loved to watch it for the ongoing storylines. Nowadays, its pathetic with the kid-friendly John Cena and Rey Mysterio pushed at every opportunity.

I heard Batista is going pro and he's expecting a real fight in the MMA series. Does he know how to fight really?
