    Julio Cruz

    [attachment=0:1nhsaepu]Julio_Cruz_Barcaforum.jpg[/attachment:1nhsaepu]

    Imagine my big smile when I saw the front page of Sport that features Cruz as a possible Barca reinforcement for next season. I´ve been talking about a tall target man as a good addition or a backup option for our striker spot for quite some time. And Cruz is a guy I mentioned many times. His contract is running out in 6 months so it´s a perfect opportunity.

    He´s a good player, but I doubt we will go for him, he´s 34 years old. There´s alot of young target men out there, and I guess Pep is thinking long term. Like Gervinho for eg. or if we can get Cruz on a free transfer and keep him for one season .. ?

    Probably. Press already labeled him as the ?new Larsson?. He would be a perfect backup imo. Use him when we need to brake the game.

    I'd accept him, he is a terrific player, quite tall and is very skilled in dribbling plus he is very strong in aerial duels as well.

    His aerial strength is why I'd be willing to welcome him with open arms. Though we don't need any strikers.
