Exactly by 2012 they will have Lloris in goal. Evra will be 31 in 2012. You have Cissokho too. Young defenders like Sakho.

In midfield they have Lass Diarra, Gourcuff, Alou Diarra, Ribery, Ben Arfa, Nasri and Flamini.

Up front they have Anelka, Benzema, Gignac and Gomis.

Then there are others like Cana, Obertan, Menez and Gouffran.

There are loads of others I am probably missing and plus you will still get the 3 or 4 30 year old + players in the squad for experience.

But with the right manager, that team can go places.

Only possibly the Italians and Germans have young potential that can match that, but the french are ahead because those players have been playing top level football for a while longer.

Meanwhile england have some talent coming through, but are way behind the other 3.

If they qualify then I predict the team will be:- Hart, Johnson, Cahill, Shawcross, Cole, Lennon, Rodwell, Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Defoe.

they have toulalan a fantastic playmaker and with the likes of ribery, lass diarra etc they will have a class midfield. the strike force needs improving though and the defence is good anyway.

Mark my words... France doesn't really have a chance against Spain and other teams like: Portugal, England, Netherlands.... even Italy. Maybe if they play like Greece... who knows ?

I will be surprised and disappointed if Bosnia don't make it.

    Albania is passable
    Luxembourg is easy
France is passable is we have enough confidence
Romania... I see them coming in third with Bosnia go second.
Belarus is ok, Hleb might screw us over though

I think Scotland will finish 3rd, bloody Lithuania will do us again over there and that will cost us.

God doesn't pick football teams but if he did.... they'd probably look like this

    Group B

    Russia
    Slovakia
    Republic of Ireland
    Macedonia
    Armenia
    Andorra
Aaah, and this is the first time when I actually think we can finish second

Armenia and Andorra should be easy. Slovakia, IMHO they are overrated team, very overrated. They depend on Hamsiks play only, if he isn't fit and in form, they are crap. Russia will be first, they are the strongest team by far. So IMHO, the battle for the second spot will be between us and Ireland.. Of course Ireland are favorites here, but hell, miracles do happen, i hope the 3-2 win can happen again

    You won't, man.

But don't think I'm arrogant or something, I also think that Bulgaria won't qualify as well
You have Pandev, but your overall potential won't be enough for the second place.

My prediction about this one is:

    1. Russia
    2. Ireland
    3. Slovakia
    4. Macedonia
    5. Armenia
    6. Andorra

Bosnia has amazing potential. Dzeko, Ibisevic, Pjanic, Misimovic - it's a great generation

On the other side, I'm not convinced by Romania at all. Mutu is going to spend 9 months off the pitch and Marica has never been a player, who could impress me much. Most of Romania's squad is made by players from the domestic league, which is an absolute shite. Bosnia is certainly looking better than Romania right now, potential wise. Very comfortable group indeed.

That's my prediction as well actually Maybe us over Slovakia

But it is human to hope hehe.. If we do play well, like we have vs. England 4 times, vs. Holland 4 times, vs Croatia on that horrible pitch few years back we can do it.. It is not impossible, and we have easier group than we have had in the previous years, so... Let's just hope

We beat scotland as well We beat them home, and lost away.

I was really about to argue with you about that first sentence: Albania is passable. But if you throw a look at the current Albanian National Team, everyone would agree on that. Except Lorik Cana, that has been so far so good at Sunderland... none of the other players seem to offer the needed thing, if we should say, to reach the second place at least.

Luxembourg and Romania won't cause many problems. Neither will Belarus do. And if France keeps Domenech after WC, then definitely Bosnia's hope to qualify for Euro 2012 will significantly be boosted !
