MILAN - Filippo Inzaghi has spoken exclusively to Milan Channel about that passion that still binds him to Milan and his decision to stay until the end of season:

"I did not do it, it was tough to leave this environment, leaving my team-mates and fans in two hours without saying goodbye, to the San Siro stadium as it should be and how will I do so in May. So I decided to stay. I want to thank Siena made me feel wanted and important, things that are fundamental for me. At 38 years they offered me and a year and a half contract and I was flattered.

When I received the offer, I thought about the fantastic 11 years at Milan, thanks to my team-mates and those wonderful fans which has made me happy every time I have taken the pitch at the San Siro. Even though I was offered a year and a half at another club I decided to stay and I think I made the right choice. I feel good and I think I can score even more goals. I love football and I love this shirt so that is why I took this decision. I know what awaits me and I know I have three months before I have to say good-bye to the San Siro which will come on the last day of the season.
