The stats speak for themselves. Manny threw a great 4-punch combination in...egh i think it was the second round. He looked much sharper than hatton.

Is manny still pursuiing his political career? What do u think about that?

Hatton has nowhere to go after this only downhill.
Everything that Hatton learnt went out of the window chin tucked in bobbing and weaving hooks to the ribcage.
Instead he came in straight and upright with his hands nowhere near is chin.
Pacquiao has great hand speed everybody that follows boxing knows that, except Hatton it seems.
Many congratulations to Pacman he beat what was in front of him a practically stationary Hatton.

Loads of press over here about the possibilty of Hatton retiring. He was bad against Pacman.

God doesn't pick football teams but if he did.... they'd probably look like this

Yeah it's the same in the press over here a lot of pundits/ex boxers are saying it's best if he retires.

Wow the press has really no mercy, no?... if I were Hatton I wouldnt want to go home anymore, it's humiliating on his part! Anyway, I saw him in the ESPN news last night and he seems to be ok already and enjoying Vegas.

Btw, Pres. Arroyo will be declaring a National Day for Celebration upon Pacman's return here by Friday.

Like Messi, he brings so much happiness to football." - Rijkaard on Ronaldinho

Yeah I think he is very determined to run as a congressman (equivalent to MP there) in the next election in May 2010. He is also considering retiring as a boxer. But we'll see.

He has certainly the right to run for an electoral post. But it's up to his constituents if they will let him win. If he wins, then that's fine by me. Though many are opposed for him to enter politics here.

Here's a recap done by GMA's news program "Saksi" (Witness)

    http://www.gmanews.tv/video/41006/Sa...rked-vs-Hatton

    some translations in the footage:

News anchor: "Team Pacquiao's game plan has been effective in enabling the national fist, Manny Pacquiao in beating Ricky Hatton in the 2nd round of their bout while the coach of Hatton, Mayweather Sr admitted that Hitman did not follow him."

Pacman after the fight: "I am so happy and many thanks to God. I dedicate this fight to God and to my Filipino countrymen. I am very thankful for the support."

Pacman speaking in the car: "He (referring to Hatton) got surprised, because during the fight he was always looking and focusing on my left side. "

Cotto may end up fighting Manny one day, or Mayweather if he wins. If Floyd can beat Manny and Cotto then he's literally god nobody to challenge him, same goes for Manny if he beats Floyd and Cotto.

English Premier League: Chelsea 3 - 3 Manchester United - 2 more dodgy penalties and United escape another loss.

Well pacquiao has called him out apparantly.

    Plus mayweather fight is postponed.

And if manny beats floyd and cotto juan ma will want to fight him again to settle the decision of the last fight.

Did you watch the cotto clottey fight anton?

Nope, Cotto win? I'd assume he would have.

Mayweathers fight in July got postponed? What happened?

Yeah split decision. It was a decent fight. Clottey did let off a bit in the latter rounds, but cotto fought 9 rounds with a nasty cut above his eye from an accidental headbuttt.

JMM mayweather is off because mayweather injured himself in training. Some people are saying he is postponing it to generate more hype but i think its legit.

Damn, that means Manny-Mayweather is going to take longer to come around. What do you think it, do you reckon Floyd should get 2 fights under his belt before Manny or do you think he'll be okay to fight with just 1?

Ehhh im not so sure. Its hard to tell without seeing him against jmm. I think manny will beat him if they fight, and even though im a mad cotto fan i think he will have a task on his hands if he faces manny. Manny is deservedly p4p at the moment, although credit to cotto because he isn't ducking ANYONE. Margarito and clottey were two fighters a lot of other guys have ducked.

i have a feeling Pacman's next fighter is Marquez for part III now that Floyd is rethinking about his boxing career.
