I haven't payed much attention to Boxing since Lenox Lewis retired. I just think this sport has become to commercialized.

Not at all, old sport. Evander will get 600 000 USD for this fight and it`s a title match. Compare that to double digits millions that some fighters received a decade ago

I heard somewhere that Holyfield should have won the clash. I dunno; has someone watched it?

I have. One might think the refs would favor Holyfield. All that old champ hype and whatnot. But in the end they took the win away from him. Evander took it gracefully though.
He was magnificent, danced around Valuev for 12 rounds at the age of 46. Placed more punches and should have won, no doubt about that. Simply amazing achievement in the world of sports.

WBA is reviewing the controversial Valuev win over Holyfield! We might see some justice after all

46 y.o. Holyfield fought in a match for a World heavyweight title against the Valuev. According to all sources Holyfield was a better fighter that night but the refs gave the victory to Valuev. It was really a disgrace to boxing world.

Who knows. One might think that all that hype about aged champion return would be a good meal to serve the public but the truth is in recent years Europeans took over the boxing with former USSR holding all heavyweight category titles

I watched an old match and some people commenting about it on TV today. It was Mohammad Ali vs some guy he called gorilla or something. Unbelievable stuff.

Just about to watch hatton pacquiao 24/7. This program gets me so excited!

I believe hatton will beat pacquiao. This isnt because im from england..i said hatton would lose to mayweather.. but hatton is going to come into the fight at around 152 153 lbs, while pacquiao will be no way near that.

It will be a great fight though thats for sure.

I'm a big boxing fan, usually I like the middle/welterweight to heavy. My all time favorite: Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson

btw, Oscar De La Hoya calls it quits...

Yeah heard that the other day. Was inevitable really..he looked so shot against pacuiqao (even though he was drained for the weigh in) and like he said to roach he doesnt have it in him anymore.

As for the divisions, the divisions just below welterweight (i.e. the lightweight divisions) are also very good. The fight with JMM and juan díaz was truly amazing.

Good choice on SRR by the way!
