Kinda my point.
Kinda my point.
So when you talk about Milan being the most successful international club side you omit the 2 cup winners' cups that you won do you?
Every single european trophy a club wins adds a lot to that club.
If PSG want to be relevant they need to be a success in europe, not France.
Football is a simple game, complicated by idiots.

Your point is that PSG should concentrate on the french title and challenging for that.
My point is that the PSG owners won't give a rats ass if PSG win 10 leagues in a row, because it is in europe where PSG will be judged, with their new found wealth.
Football is a simple game, complicated by idiots.
Are you that thick?
You seriously would prefer to try and win the Europa League (when there are far stronger teams than PSG still in the tournament) if that did mean you would probably not win the leauge title and secure direct CL qualification or in the worst case scenario miss the CL spots?
Ok, let's leave it here. Looks like a waste of time to explain to you that PSG can't afford to take the Europa League dead seriously when they are fighting for the league title in a very, very close competition. A league title that would mean they would secure direct CL qualification and win a major trophy not an Micky Mouse Cup.

The cup winners cup is a competition that has been defunct for 20 years. And while it wasn't an especially prestigious tournament, it had infinitely more worth than the Europa League, which is a competition of midtable teams or bigger clubs that have disgraced themselves in the CL. The EL is worth shit, so its saying alot that Liverpool aren't good enough for it while Stoke are.
Spurs are out. Couldn't even go beyond the group stage.

To be fair, they obviously weren't bothered about it. They played a reserve side tonight.
What happened to the mighty EPL?
