Villarreal for me are probably the favourites.
Football is a simple game, complicated by idiots.

    I would say Porto.

Same. I was thinking Porto as well last night when I was looking at the results.

Am going with Rangers, being that dirty will get them far, like it did 2 years ago. Dublin will be delighted am sure.

In fact I was surprised by Villareal's victory last night, as Leverkusen are 2nd in the Bundesliga and the Yellow Sumbarine itself has hit a rough patch of late, winning only one of their last six league games.

They defended all evening last night with 70 minutes having 21 players on the side of PSV. However PSV had some chances but we miss Reis too much, in my opinion much more than we miss Ibi. For me Porto are the favourites great team with some great finishers. If PSV won't win I hope they'll win Europe Leauque

Thats football. We had it on wednesday with Schalke kicking out the potentially better team of Valencia and now Villareal (although even less deservedly than Schalke imo) winning in Leverkusen with less than 40% possession and only 4 to Leverkusens 18 shots. It happens all the time ... esp. with Leverkusen involved, that are a ver strong side but with the occasional horror games

    Sad news.

The wife of Zenit keeper Vyacheslav Malafeev was killed in an auto accident yesterday. Understandably, he won't be taking part in Zenit's game today v. Twente.

There's an odd image -- Fabio Capello sitting next to (the banned) Kolo Toure in the stands at the City-Dynamo Kiev game.
