Romelu Lukaku

El Gato

Villarato!
His tendencies to have a touch of a rapist at key moments never go away and can run like a gazelle. What’s new?

Dude will be up and down. He’s not the star of that team, probably won’t become one, but can sure as hell have a number of great appearances.

Drogba is a great. In a different league.

Exactly .... Everyone was raving about Lukaku's involvement in their breakaway goal and yes he showed great desire but he actually miscontrolled the ball twice in that build up ... as he first received the ball it bounced off his knee ( luckily it bounced into his path ... then when he turned and drive at the defenders it looked like he dribbled easily passed one defender but it was sheer pace as on the reply it showed him miscontrol the ball which actually took him passed the player

As an Everton fan I believed at the time and still do when Utd bought him that Lukaku is the best striker in the world.

He may not have the silkiest of first touches but it's not near as bad as people make out.

Everything else he's up there with the best. Heading, clininal, pace, strength, power, attitude, shooting, passing etc

For us it was like having Lineker and Drogba rolled into one player.

I still don't think he would ever suit Barca although he would probably score about 30 or 40 goals a season for you.

Happy for both him, Martinez and Fellaini. I bet Mirallas wishes he had of worked a bit harder over the last few seasons.

The Willian of strikers. Can play like a man possessed one day, will also shit the bed on another.

Inconsistent af.

Lukaku with a better first touch would have taken the golden boot, Kane has been kinda underwhelming despite all the goals.
Oh well, Kane is a striker, and put away most of his opportunities this world cup, so who can complain?

hes been pretty good this world cup, his link up play and passing have definitely improved. people expecting him to have a great first touch.. he never will, hes not that type of striker

Both Kane and Lukaku have been underwhelming in this world cup. Have scored a bunch of goals against Tunisia and Panama and aside from moments here and there, they've done fuck all for the rest of the games. Lukaku's touch has messed countless attacks for Belgium. Kane invisible.

Poor first touch in the video, but actually pretty good linkup play overall (in a completely different league than Suarez). His perfectly weighted defense splitting carpet through-ball for Chadli was the pre-assist for the first Belgium goal.

Lukaku has arrived to Milan and will sign a 5-year contract with Inter who will reportedly pay 70M€ (with possible 13M€ in add-ons) to United.
